PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

1. Describe potential mechanisms of action of neurohormones following traumatic brain injury (TBI).
2. Discuss the clinical and experimental literature on the differences between males and females after brain injury.
3. Identify the differences between males and females in histopathological outcome following post-TBI temperature manipulation.
