PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this program, the participants will be able to:

1.   Define and discuss what is required for functional recovery after spinal cord injury.
2.   Define and discuss the inhibitors of axonal regeneration found in myelin, their receptors and how they signal.
3.   Describe the mechanism of action, dosage, route of administration, of the phosphodiesterase inhibitor, Rolipram, in achieving functional recovery after spinal cord lesion in rodents.
