SPEAKER PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of the program, the participants will be able to:

1.  Outline the time course and location of oligodendrocyte loss and oligodendrocyte progenitor proliferation during the first two weeks after spinal contusion injury.

 

2.  Describe the location of new oligodendrocyte formation in the contused spinal cord during the first two week post-injury.

 

3.  Describe how the location of proliferating oligodendrocyte progenitors correlates with new oligodendrocyte formation.
