Barclay Morrison: FLEXIBLE MICROELECTRODE ARRAYS

At the conclusion of this presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the advantages of flexible microelectrode arrays over rigid arrays.
  2. Describe the novel technology that enables stretchable microelectrode arrays.
  3. Outline potential applications of stretchable microelectrode arrays in the areas of neuroprosthetics and in vitro models of traumatic brain injury.
  4. Identify remaining technological hurdles to production of robust stretchable microelectrode arrays.
