At the conclusion of this presentation,
attendees will be able to:
- Understand deformation-based morphometry
(DBM), a new computational neuroanatomy technique for measuring regional cerebral
atrophy, as commonly occurs after head trauma.
- Understand applications of diffusion
tensor imaging (DTI) for better characterization of the microstructural white
matter injury sustained after head trauma.
- Discuss magnetoencephalography (MEG)
and its utility for assessing and localizing cognitive function, including
impaired information processing due to traumatic brain injury.
