Dr. Amy K. Wagner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Associate Director of

Rehabilitation Research at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research

at the University of Pittsburgh . She is a fellow of the American

Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and a member of

Association of Academic Physiatrists and the National Neurotrauma

Society. In addition to her clinical and administrative

responsibilities, Dr. Wagner is extremely active and federally funded

through NIH and the CDC in both laboratory and clinical research in

traumatic brain injury. Her current research interests focus on

dopamine neurotransmission, genetic markers, gender differences,

environmental enrichment, and their roles on pathophysiology and outcome

after traumatic brain injury.
