At the conclusion of this program, the participants will be able to:

•  Understand the differences in neurobiology through the different developmental stages at relation to potential injury

•  outline the differences in mechanisms of injury at different ages

•  consider the impact at different ages at injury with specific issues related to secondary mechanisms

•  understand the potential impact of treatment of secondary mechanisms at different ages injury

•  determine the potential issues related to treatment interventions not only early after injury but later in the chronic phase
