The majority of INTS/NNS hotel rooms are located at the Fess Parker's DoubleTree Resort, the headquarters hotel, and the nearby (10-min walk) Hotel Mar Monte. Additional lodging is located along the ocean front at the Santa Barbara Inn (5-min walk) and the Franciscan Inn (20-min walk) and at the Holiday Inn Express off State Street (20-min walk).

All rooms at the conference hotels have complimentary hi-speed Internet except at the DoubleTree (rate is $10.45 per 24-hr period). INTS/NNS will host a daily Internet Café in the DoubleTree lobby during the meeting hours. All rooms are non-smoking, although a few rooms at the DoubleTree allow smoking. Complimentary continental breakfast is available at the MarMonte, Santa Barbara Inn, Franciscan and Holiday Inn (hot breakfast!). All but the Holiday Inn have heated swimming pools and Jacuzzis. Bedding configurations and number of occupants of the hotel rooms and suites, along with pricing information, are listed on the Lodging Reservation Form.

The DoubleTree offers complimentary pick-up/drop off from Santa Barbara airport and advanced reservations are recommended. To reserve an airport pickup, please contact Guest Services at the DoubleTree directly at 805-564-4333. Self-Parking is free at all hotels except for the Holiday Inn ($9.00 nightly).

Accommodations at INTS/NNS's special conference rates can be reserved ONLY by returning the Lodging Reservation Form no later than July 31st with a CREDIT CARD deposit to cover the first night's lodging and tax. Credit card deposits are required by the hotels to guarantee reservations, however, the hotel will not charge your card prior to arrival.

On-line submissions will be transmitted to SCP via a secure server. Otherwise, please submit the Printable (PDF) version of the form by mail or fax directly to SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE PLANNERS (SCP). SCP will transfer your reservation to the hotel of your choice, whereupon the hotel will e-mail confirmation of your reservation directly to you.

For those wishing to share lodging, SCP will maintain a roommate list and circulate it upon request.

PLEASE NOTE:

INTS/NNS has contractual agreements with the hotels to fill all the rooms in the Societies' block. All empty rooms must be paid for by INTS/NNS. It is therefore essential for attendees to book lodging at INTS/NNS's hotels using the INTS/NNS Lodging Reservation Form.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Attendees reserving directly with the hotels will be charged regular rack rates.

• Children under 18 stay free in rooms with parents when using the existing bedding. Cribs and rollaways are available on a first-come first-served basis at no additional charge. Rollaways can only be added to King-Bedded rooms, NOT to Double-Bedded rooms.

• Room taxes and gratuities are NOT included. Room tax (State, Local and Occupancy) is 12.06%.

• INTS/NNS's special rates are offered, on a space available basis, during the period September 4 to September 15.
