GETTING HERE...

Transportation is one of the things that make Santa Barbara a dream destination.

By air, you can fly directly into enchanting little Spanish-style Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) or Los Angeles International (LAX). By train, Amtrak brings you right downtown. By car, you can enjoy one of the world's most spectacularly scenic drives, along Pacific Coast Highway. Once here, getting around is easy via electric shuttle, pedicab, renowned public transit, or, of course, on foot.

Taxi cabs are available at the Santa Barbara Airport, or you can make advance reservations to take a shuttle from the airport to the Fess Parker Doubletree hotel by calling Kal at Central Coast Shuttle by calling 1-805-928-1977 or visiting their online reservation site. Rates: $20/one way or $35/round trip. They also offer shuttles from LAX to Santa Barbara for $50/one way or $90/round trip.

Roadrunner Shuttle services the Hotel Mar Monte from Santa Barbara airport, and has agreed to honor their corporate rate for INTS attendees. One way ride share is $25pp; $10 each person on the same reservation. Exclusive van $63.00, Exclusive sedan $85.00. 24 hour advance reservation is preferred, though walk-ups are accepted. Santa Barbara is 100 miles (160 km) north of Los Angeles airport (LAX) and is also served by several airlines to its own airport. It is a 2-hour drive from Los Angeles along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway or via the freeway system. Or you can take the Santa Barbara Airbus shuttle from the LAX airport to the Hotel MarMonte.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS FROM FESS PARKER'S DOUBLETREE RESORT

Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort offers complimentary pick-up/drop off from Santa Barbara airport from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. upon request (for reservations, please contact Guest Services at the DoubleTree directly at 805-884-8528. Service is available to and from the Santa Barbara Airport (approximately 15 minutes from hotel) and the Amtrak station (approximately 5 minutes from resort). Please book this transfer in advance to arriving. You will be picked up outside of the baggage claim area.
