We will mainly explore cell transplantation, cell reprogramming, and rehabilitation to restore central regulation for autonomic functional recovery. The research team employs a wide range of neuroscience, cardiovascular, and micturition techniques, including SCI animal models, physiological and electrophysiological recordings, neural tract tracing, passive exercise training, pharmacological interventions, and molecular biology as well as histology. The candidate should have strong interests in autonomic neuroscience and experience in working with rodents, and is able to work independently, highly motivated, and enthusiastic. The post-doctoral fellow/Scientist will work on neuro-cardiovascular or micturition experiments, data analysis, writing manuscripts, preparing fellowship grants, and helping mentor students and technicians.
