Post doctoral Fellow- Traumatic Brain Injury and Translational therapeutics.

The Uniformed Services University (USU), Bethesda, MD is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the laboratory of Dr. Sharon L Juliano. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and carrying out research projects in collaboration with a research team and work on potential assessments and treatments for traumatic brain injury in a gyrencephalic animal model. There are a number of experimental scenarios available including work with Positron Emission Tomography, MRI, microscopic imaging, human post mortem tissue. The work can involve neuropathology, multiple types of imaging, biochemical and behavioral analysis. We are interested in understanding inflammation and mechanisms of treating TBI.

Education and Experience

Doctoral degree 

Minimum of 0-5 years experience required.
