Job offer:

We are recruiting for a post doctoral fellow to work in the laboratories of Dr. Sharon L Juliano and Dr. Joseph McCabe at the Uniformed Services University (USU), Bethesda MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and carrying out research projects in collaboration with a global research team and to work on potential assessments and treatments for traumatic brain injury in lissencephalic and gyrencephalic animal models. There are a number of experimental scenarios available including work with Positron Emission Tomography, MRI, and microscopic imaging. The work can also involve neuropathology/histology, multiple types of imaging, biochemical, genetic, and behavioral analysis. We are interested inidentifying and optimizing potential therapeutics and demonstrating that prophylactic treatment can target delivery to the brain. Education and Experience

Doctoral level degree or equivalent for the Post doctoral fellow position

Note: This position requires that the incumbent has lived in the US for three out of the past five years
